Case Study: Lunar Outpost Stereoscopic 3D Movie Exhibit Back to Portfolio >
The Challenge

The NASA Conference Exhibit team needed a state-of-the art display for the NASA booth at the AIAA Space 2009 Conference in Pasadena, California. The goal was to create a stunning exhibit worthy of the novel lunar exploration concepts being proposed by the NASA Constellation Program.

The Solution

AMA Studios developed a series of stereo 3D images and movies featuring the lunar surface architecture elements and activities. Viewable on a 52 inch LCD stereoscopic television through shutter glasses, the system delivered an IMAX-like 3D experience.

The Results

AMA Studios delivered a turn-key system with all require PC and display hardware to the booth site, pre-configured with software and rendered content. The exhibit drew crowds.

Our animation work is perfectly suited for any kind of 3D viewing process including anaglyph (red/green), polarized or shutter glasses box viewers or lenticular prints.
